Vanity Planet Ultimate Skin Spa

Several months ago I made an impulse purchase since I saw summer discounts on Vanity Planet website. It didn't take too long to think if I should make the purchase or not since I got 70% off the price!

So I ended up to buy ultimate skin spa facial cleansing system. The packaging included battery operated facial brush, daily cleaning facial brush head, exfoliating facial brush head and also silicone head for sensitive skin in a container which is easy to take with you even if you are travelling somewhere.

It took me while to start using it, I did test it for one week when I received the package and I did notice some changes on my skin but not a huge difference since I was only trying it out.
My skin has been always bad, not the worst but most of the time I always have some pimples on my face, prone to blemishes and black heads.

Now about three weeks ago I decided to start using the facial brush regularly, at least in the evenings and when I do middle shifts or whenever I am off I'm also using it in a mornings too. I am not that good morning person that I would be awake at 4 am to go to wash my face. I wake up 10 minutes before I leave to work.

 Aftes these few weeks of use the brush, I can definitely say that my skin has improved a bit. I do have way less black heads and other impurities on my skin, probably I will never get rid of all of them, but it's been a great improvement for my skin.

Also one thing to mention, I liked a lot that Vanity Planet is completely cruelty free, so everyone can use the products.

Last Months Favourite Beauty Products

Last month I spent quite a good amounth of money for make up, I keep repeating for myself it's all okei since it's been while skince I bought make up last time. 

My most recent purchase was Huda beauty rose gold edition. After the first use it jumped for my favourite eye shadow palette, i love the textured eyeshadows, I just can't be not using the palette everytime when I do my make up. The palette is just perfect for myself since I love pink shades and also in case I wanna go for safe everyday makeup I just choose to use the different brown shades. 

I did buy another eyeshadow palette last month, it is made together with Kat von D and Too faced. At the beginning I was so exited of the palette. It does have beautiful colors and then the red is very intense and beautiful color, however I am a bit dissapointed with the palette box, it cMe together with too faced mascara better than sex and tattoo ink eye liner by Kat von D.  It is the second time already I have problems with this exact same eyeliner. I did contact Debenhams and I explained the situation, I need to bring the eyeliner back there and it will be replaced. I'm glad that I can change it, but it kind of put some points down with this palette. Otherwise I'm loving the palette and the colors   

And last two products are lip products and I canno't be not loving these lipsticks. They are Urban decay Vice liquid lipsticks. And I have never ever had this amazing lipsticks, they are kissproof! And also last much longer than any other lipstick I've ever tried even if you get something to eat, absolutely my favourite lipstick of all time.

Aviela pure Shea Butter

Shea butter, it's origin is from Africa. It is a fat extracted from a nut ofa shea tree. It has several benefits for skin amd hair and therefore it is used for many DIY beauty, hair and skin treatments. Shea butter has lots of vitamin A which is why it is great treatment for some skin conditions.

I am using pure shea butter from Aviela daily on my lashes and as a moisturizer for my hands and face. I love the fact how soft it makes my hands since I have to use several chemicals at work daily, it  really does kill my hands. Also I'm using shea butter under my eyes and quick two minutes massage on top, it keeps your black under eyes under the control most of the times. I was so happy to find this little tip, it is great for students! One other way I use the cream is to apply it on my lashes. It keeps them strong and long, because sometimes I feel like my lashes are getting in a bad condition  because I'm wearing make up most of the days.

 Shea butter can be a good treatment for
 - eczema
 - dry skin
 - dry feet
 - sun burns
 - scalp treatment
 - blemishes
 - shaving cream

 These are very common usaged for a shea butter, but there are still many others left where you could use shea butter.

DIY Foam Face Mask With My Boyfriend

Recently I discovered on Instagram a DIY face mask which is really easy to do, but if you want to do it by hand, you need strength !

You will need only two ingredients for this easy face mask
1 egg white
1tbps of sugar

and mix it well in a bowl until its foamy and will stay on your face. Keep it for about 10 - 15 minutes and wash it off. I find it easiest to do before you are about to have a shower, since I am a bit messy person and I always get it on my hair and after all I will be extremely sticky.

One great side of this mask is that it actually tastes nice in case you manage to get it on your mouth or in case you just want to taste it.

Rio Facial Steamer

I have always had a skin that there are all the time some pimples and blackheads and now recently I've noticed that it has gotten worse, on my skin there are everywhere small kind of pimples and then there are always those few extremely red spots you can't hide with a normal layer of makeup.

For this reason I purchased a facial Sauna steamer by Rio, it actually arrived today, lovely surprise in the middle of the work day! (I do order all my parcels to my work place, there is always someone to receive the parcel)
And also recently I purchased moisturizer and facial toner which are made of Tea Tree oil. I've heard good feedback of this oil and now I wanted to see if this can help at least somehow together with the facial sauna steamer.

In the box there  are included also small measurement cup which is easy to use to pour the water in the steamer. If you fill up the steamer 50ml it will last approximately for 20 minutes, which will be enough, your face will be nice and red after that time ;)
Also with the steamer there is a inhaler attachment which is helpful if you got any kind of sinus problems, it will help you to breath better. And what I like the most is that there is essential oil vaporiser.

For the price I bought the facial steamer, it is good. Yet I don't know for how long it will last, but for £20 it is a great way of having little relaxing moment in the evenings!

Playing with Black & Purple

Mie oon maailman huonoin ihminen alottamaan asiat hyvissä ajoin, aina kaikki jää viimeseen minuuttiin. Tänään olis pitänyt pakata tavarat valmiiks perjantaita varten, huomenna viimeistään pakko. Aina kon pitäis jotain tehdä alan tekememään ihan kaikkea muuta kun pitäis.

Nyt tuli sellainen tilanne, että oli ihan pakko alkaa kokeilemaan meikkejä. Oon täysin tykästyny liilan sävyihin ja niillä on nyt muutamat päivät menty. 

Elikkäs, luomiväri paletti, josta oon puhunu jonkin verta sen jälkeen kon ostin sen, Urban Decayn Spectrum luomiväripaletti. Sen pääsi taas kerran käyttöön tänää mustaa ja liilaa.

Ja kertokaahan miulle jos tiedätte vastauksen, miks aina kon kokeilen erillaisia meikkejä ne näyttää niin paljon paremmalle, kon siinä vaiheessa kun pitäis olla jonnekkin menossa? Vois tosiaan olla just toisin päin

Urban Decay: Spectrum Palette

Viikonloppu meni liian nopeesti ja loma melkein loppu. Perjantai ja lauantai meni suurinpiirtein shoppaillessa ja opiskellessa.
Perjantaina pistäydyin käymää Debenhams:lla, Urban Decay:n osastolla ja mukaan tarttu Spectrum luomiväripaletti.
Paletissa on kirkkaita värejä, sinistä, vihreän sävyjä, pinkkiä ja sitten muutama eri ruskean sävy vähän tasaamassa että kaikki ei oo niin kirkkaita värejä.

Vielä en oo päässy kokeilemaan ihan kaikkia värejä, eilen kokeilussa oli sinisen sävyt ja tänään violetit. Tällä hetkellä oon niin tykästynyt siniseen, joten omasta mielestä se näytti paremmalle kuin tän päivän violetti meikki. Huomenna ois kokeilussa pinkit sävyt !

Viimesimmässä kuvassa näkyy, että paletin väreissä on erittäin hyvä pigmentti, elikäs ihan pieni hipaisu silveltimellä ja aina tarvittaessa voi sitä aina lisätä.

Huonona puolena paletissa on se, että sen kansi ei oo kiinnitetty mitenkään sen alaosaan, joten se tipahtaa aika helposti pois. Joten se ei oo ehkä parhain paletti ottaa matkalle mukaan.
Ja sellainen asia mitä oon muiden kuullu sanovan paletista on, että siihen ei oo tullu mitään kovin uusia värejä, mut omalle kohdalle se ei haittaa, koska se on oikeestaan ensimmäinen luomiväripaletti kirkkailla väreillä jonka oon ostanut.


Huomasin, että on mahdollista ostaa UD:n tuotteita Sokoksen verkkokaupasta. Kuinka moni on suomessa löytäny tän kyseisen merkin ja mitä mieltä ootte tuotteista?

Urban Decay Cosmetics

Tästä merkistä on tullu yks mun lemppari meikki merkeistä, johon tutustuin sattumalta noin vuosi sitten. Urban Decay, amerikkalainen brändi Californiasta, jolla on miun ilokseni ja surukseni myymälä täällä Lontoossa Covent gardenissa. 

Tuotteet on erittäin ihania ja yleensä tulee jotain ihan must ostettavaa noin neljän kuukauden välein, ens viikolla on tulossa Urban Decayn ja Gwen Stefanin yhdessä tuottama luomiväripaletti. Ihania värejä on tulossa siihen! Sehän oli pakko varata ittelle pari viikkoa sitten, että varmasti saa sen. Mitä luultavammin on tulossa siitä postaus kunhan saan sen käsiini ja pääsen testailemaan. 

Mutta nyt Urban Decayn tuotteisiin yleisisti. Eli kaikki tuotteet mitä ite omistan ja on tullu kokeiltua niin on erittän hyvä laatusia, ei oo ollu mitään valittamista. Ja pääasiassa ne on kestäny vähintään 4 kuukauden ajan ennen kun oon joutunu ostamaan uusia. 

Tällä hetkellä oma suosikki Urban Decayn tuotteista on Naked 2 luomiväripaletti sekä Afterglow 8-Hour Powder Blush väriltään Quiver ja Score. 

Naked 2 paletissa on ihania värejä ja vähän kimalletta seassa ja muutama ihan mattavärikin löytyy siitä. Pääasiassa sävyt menee vaalean ruskeesta mustaan. Sillä paletilla saa luotua niin montaa ihanan näköstä lookkia, aina pitää miettiä aamulla vähän aikaa ennenko alkaa mitään tekemään

Poskipunat on myös niin ihanat, en oikeen ees osaa valita kummasta väristä pidän enemmän, Quiver on ihanan punainen ja Score luonnollisen vaaleenpunainen pienellä kimalteella. 

Blonde and Well Doing Hair

Joku aika sitte kirjotin siitä, että kuinka meinaa kaikki miun hiukset tippua päästä ja kokeilla Wella System Professionalin Balance Scalp- seerumia. En koskaan ehtiny ja muistanu ostaa ko. seerumia, mutta juttelin asiasta kaverin kanssa, joka käski miun ostaa Evonia kapseleita. Monenlaisia ravinteita päänahalle, rautaa, biotiinia, vitamiineja ja mitä kaikkee siinä olikaan.

Nyt ehkä kuukauden käytön jälkee voin sanoo että noi kapselit oikeesti auttaa! Kaikki ne hilsepaakut on poissa ja hiuksia tippuu ihan normaali määrä, ei siis oo enää niitä hiustuppoja tyynyllä kon aamusin herää! Siinä kyl tulee kestämään vielä jonkun aikaa että hiuksista tulee taas normaalin paksuset, varmaan tilaan ainaki vielä toisen paketin Suomesta ja sen jälkee katon jos lopetan niiden popsimisen ja miten sitte tulee käymää

You learn something everyday of your life. Today it was that I have used bobby pins wrong way all my life, as long as I have used them! I googled 'Bobby pin' and I found an article which told that the curvy side of the pin is suppose to be bottom. It secures hair better in that way. 

I bet I'm not the only one, because always when I have seen my friends have used them, they have used the same way than I did

Fast Messy Bun

Tän päivän hiusasetelma oli erittäin nopeesti hutastu nuttura. En jaksanu alkaa tekemää mitää lettejä tällä kertaa, joten ponnarille hiukset kii ja siihen vähän tupeerausta ja pinneillä kiinni ponnarin alle. Ja vähän jotain pientä extraa, joten lisäsin tollassia '' timatteja''

My hairstyle for this day was a fast messy bun. I was way too lazy to make an effort for my hair, no braids or nothing else. So I made a ponytail which I combed backwards and then tied up with bobby pins. I did a little extra, I added some ''diamonds''

Sunnuntai Hiukset

Tänää on lepopäivä, ei töitä ei mitää. Hiukset laitoin sen mukasesti, ei mitää ihmeempiä. Sekasorto nuttura johon koristeeks pieni letti sivulle.

Kampaus ei tosiaan oo mitää hienointa laatua. Hiukset ei oo mikää miun erikoisala, mut tykkään väsertää aina jotain niistä. 

Nuttura on ihan normaali nuttura, mut ennen kon väänsin nutturan tupeerasin sitä vähäsen (ja en harjannu hiuksia päältä lopuks jotta se jäis sellatteeks sekasorroks) Ja sitte vaa ponnaria ja pinniä kehiin sen verta kon tarvii. 

Lettiä varten jätin sivulle aika paljon hiuksia, kon omat hiukset on niin ohuet että tarviin aika paljon siihen hiusta että onnistuis. Ja letti on ihan normaali ranskanletti, jonka sitte lopuks kiinnitin yhellä pinnillä ja ''häntähius'' mikä jäi yli kiersin sen nutturan ympärille ja pillillä alhaalta kiinni.

Today I'm just gonna relax, no work, nothing. My hair looks like a relaxing day, nothing special. Messy bun and for the decor little french braid on the side. 

The hairstyle isn't the best quality. I'm not that good with hair, but I like to do something on it sometimes. 

The bun is made like any other bun, but before I little comb the hair backwards (and I didn't brush it to the end so it will keep the messy look) And then just tie the bun with bobby bins and elastic band. 

For the braid I left a lot of hair on the side, becuase my own hair is so thin so I will need a little more hair so it will look like a braid and not just a mess. When the braid is done just tie with one bobby bin. The rest of the hair I rolled it around the bun.
