Winter Lights in Canary Wharf

Dark, freezing cold winter, there is even a chance that It's gonna snow here in UK, I will wait and see. But this year they have made really nice events for January to bring up the light. 

First there was Lumiere and now they set up bunch of lights in Canary Wharf.

We went to see the lights on the other night, some of them was really weird and just some lights, but when we managed to go little further, closer to Jubilee Park, there was really nice "waterfall", when the water dropped down, the water created some words and when the water fell down they disappeared, that was one of my favorite. 

But since I love colors and lights, the best part for me was in the park, they made flowers which changed colors, I'd love to have those flowers in my room! And having a warm cup of London Fog in Starbucks finished the evening, after staying outside for an hour we were like ice cubes 

Peschiera del Garda

First day of the year and we spent it relaxed. After waking up after midday and having a breakfast in McDonald's we had a walk around Peschiera del Garda by another part of the lake. We also went to have a late lunch to La Plume, which is located just right in front of the lake Garda. Perfect place to have a relaxing afternoon. 

Sunset by the lake is lovely, the colors that comes up and contrast the lake. One of the remaining mornings I definitely want to force myself to wake up early and to go to see sunrise and to have a fresh breakfast, cappuccino and fresh pastries 

In the late afternoon we decided to finish the day really relaxed. We drove short way to small kind of spa, centro benessere, to enjoy of Italian saunas and swimming pool. This was a great way to start new year 2016

Talvi on tullut Italiaankin

Byrrr... Täällä oikeesti saa täristä kunnolla! Pari viime päivää on ollu ihan kauhian kylmiä. Tuntuu et kesä läksi pois iha muutamassa päivässä, viel vähä aikaa si mentii tääl ilman takkia ja topissa päivisin, mut ny aamusta alkaen on jäätävää.

Eilen illalla paketti, misä on talvitakki ja toppaliivi tummppuineen lähti matkaan Suomesta ja tänää postiluukusta löyty paketti joka sisälti ruisleipää, liivatelehtiä ja ite tehdyt tumput!

Ja kon verorahat tulee joulukuun alussa tämä tyttö lähtee ostoksille. Tarvetta on lämpösille vaatteille ja farkuille. Ja sitte o pakko mennä ettimää jostain pipo ja paksu kaulahuivi!

Pullaa!

Ko menin kalenterin ohi keittiiöö, tuli huomattuu et tänää on laskiaistiistai (ellen si katton vahingos väärää päivää) Mut anyway, tää tyttö alko tekemää laskiaispullia! Nam ;) 

Meinas eka tulla vaikeuksia ko kaik tavarat on muuttan paikkaa ja mistää en meinannu löytää jauhoja ja ko löyty ni niit ei ollu ko vaa muutama desi jälel... sämpyläjauhoseosta löyty! Onneks siit ei tarvinu alkaa pullaa vääntämää, ko sen takkaa löytys erikoisvehnäjauhoja. 

Taikinan paisuessa lakkasin kynnet pitkästä aikaa taas. Vanhat lakat oli iha kuluneet ja kivempi on ko kädetki näyttää siistimmiltä :) 

Kynsissä käytetty KIKO'n värisävyä 258. 

 

Ko kynnet oli valmiit ja kuivunu ni alko pullien pyöristys. 

Ja resepti jota käytin tulee tähä perään, pistän muunnellun reseptin mitä oon käyttän :)

LASKIAISPULLA

0,5L  maitoa

50g   hiivaa tai 2 pussia kuivahiivaa

125g sulatettua voita

15dl  jauhoja, määrä on noin, kannattaa vähä kahtoo minkälaiselt se taikina vaikuttaa 

kaardemummaa ja sokeria 

Lämmitä maito ensin kädenlämpöiseksi ja lisää siihen sokeri ja  kardemumma. 

Mittaa jauhoista 3-5dl erilliseen astiaan ja lisää kuivahiiva siihen ja sekoita. ( Jos käytät tuorehiivaa sekoita se maitoon) 

sekoita jauhot maitoon ja lisää sulatettu voi. Lisää jauhoja sen mukaan mitä tarvitaan. Pistä taikina paisumaan mikroon tai liinan alle. 

Paisumisen jälkeen tee taikinasta pullia ja pistä pellin kanssa uuniin paistumaan. (Älä unohota niitä uuniin ;) 

Kun pullat on valmiit anna niiden jäähtyä ja lopuksi leikkaa halki ja täytä mansikkahillolla ja kermavaahdolla! 

Cupcakes & Birthday Parties

Today was my cousins and my goddaughter's b-day party. There's just 2 days between, so we had double parties ;) 

Lot of all the goodies, cakes, chocolate cake, candy, Finnish sweetbread Pulla, and all kind of cookies. I'm not complaining, I love all sweet things, Yummy! And couple of days ago, we had some really cute looking & delicious cupcakes... Wish I could get more of them. One of  the best cupcakes I've eaten for a while, but back to the parties! 

There I got to be with little kids, we played hide and seek and treasure hunting. The prices for the winner was more candy! : D So today I have been eating a lot of everything and I still have Ice cream in a fridge, but I'll leave it for tomorrow or next week when I'm home alone, cause my dad ans his girlfriend is leaving to Lapland! 

And now this girl is starting to get ready for the night, partying keeps continuing ;) And also my Winter break has started, no school for a week!

Sunny Day

Finally it has got little warmer, today it was only -5 degrees and we got sun! It was really nice and beautiful today. I hope the weather is getting just warmer and warmer, but I'm pretty sure we will still get a lot of coldness :/

Italians has returned to Foligno today and normal days has started. No partying middle of the week and having fun in clubs all weekends.
Actually today I started a work in Memphis. It was awesome to get back to work after so long brake! And I get money and start saving for the summer and for the new phone (:

Finland, Winter & Car = not good combination!

This afternoon wasn't the best! It's not that cold here atm, but not so warm either, little bit under the zero. Anyway, I had to go to library to bring back some books which I needed with my final project and some other books.
Before I left, I was looking for the car keys, I couldn't find the right keys anywhere. We have two car keys and one of them is broken. (I only found the broken one) I went to car whit these keys, cause I didn't have anything else.
At first I tried to open the car, of course it didn't happen, the lock was frozen. I made pretty mad phone call to dad, and asked does he have the keys which are working, yea, he has them! During the phone call I was able to brake down the ice on a lock and I opened the door! JEJ... or was it so great? No, the alarm started to alert, because dad was locked the car with the other keys just pressing 'lock' button. I should have open it same way...

In the end I got the car silent and I just had one little job forward, take all the snow and ice off from the car -.-' after 30 mins suffering with the car I was ready to go!
