Heat wave and Stitch Hoodie

Finally the heat wave is going away from UK, it has been so hot, even rising your arm made you sweat. And my room has been like a sauna, should not get homesick though!
I am so exited that the temperature went back to around 22 degrees, because now I had a first time to wear my new Stitch hoodie I bought for myself as a birthday present! When I saw it on instagram, I knew I had to get it. And the package arrived last Saturday, but for my unfortunate the temperature was already on that day 30 degrees, so no chance to wear my new hoodie.
But today was the day and I am loving it! I cannot wait to get to Walt Disney World this September! There no one won't even give you a strange look, i get to be with my kind of people.
Also on the hot days I did cool myself down with bowl of home made frozen yoghurt!

Beauty and the Beast in Leicester Square

Yesterday we had amazing night. We did go to see Beauty ans the Beast live with orchestra. Unfortunately it was the last show, but in case you went to see it, I'd like to hear your opinion about it.  I have been waiting the movie to come in cinemas since I saw first news they are going to do live action. And I really liked how they made all the carachters to come alive.

This is definitely the best one so far and maybe it will stay as number one, since I love even the disney animation movie.  The orchestra was great, the live music they played gave me shivers, the songs are beautiful in the movie and when you hear them live with great singers and orchestra you cannot be not liking them. With the ticket they also gave a CD sample of couple of the songs and a lealet to tell how the actors like the movie and to make it come alive.

Last week while waiting to get to see the movie I made amazing discovery in Disney store Oxford street I found Chip mug! I couldn't resist, I had to have it, there was no other choise, it is just too adorable!

Moomins in London

Couple days ago we had a date night with my boyfriend we went to a city farm near Greenwich in the afternoon and later he had a surprise for me. He had bought tickets for us to go to see Moomin adventure exhibitin in Southbank center!

When we arrived to southbank center I was pretty sure it would been us with group of children, but it turned out to be all older age than children. They had created parts of the Moomin valley and moomin house and also theguide who held the tour was telling about Tove Jansson and the beginning of  stories. Even if I've been watching moomins for so many years I barely  knew anything about the Author, Tove Jansson.

In my opinion the moomin adventure tour was really good, it was executed really well and there were great set ups on every room we went, from moomin jungle to winter valley! Unfortunately I wasn't allowed to take any photos inside of the exhibition rooms, but I did take from all the other set up and advertises outside of the southbank center

Surrey Docks City Farm

The best place when you got nothing to do and definitely make you happy, The city farms of London.
Last Sunday again one more time at the Surrey Docks City Farm.
We had a lazy Sunday, breakfast at 2pm and after that we headed to the farm so we didn't have that much time to spend there since it closed at 5pm, but at least I got some photos with goats and little piglets and other animals!

The farm is actually really nice place to spend afternoon, you can even buy some food for the animals and feed them. And also they have this little cute farm shop where you can buy the products they are producing in the farm, several kind of eggs and vegetables and also if you like you can buy seeds from the shop and start growing pumpkins and cucumbers by yourself

Deers & Nature in Richmond Park

Now after all the uni exams and few weeks holiday, I have finally found some time and will to post again here.

About one month ago I did go to Richmond park with my boyfriend. I was expecting a small park with some animals. I heard there were deers before, but I never thought the park would be so huge and in my opinion it wasn't quite like a park, but very lovely place!

We were lucky it was a hot and sunny day, even there were some dark clouds approaching we didn't get wet, except of the walking. During the day we walked more than 20 km!

Spring has arrived

The entire week has been nearly all the time sunny, this means summer is behind the corner!
I can't wait the hot weather... well if we are ever gonna get it here in UK, I can only hope for it.

My mom visited here for few days and we were really lucky if it rained it was only late in the night.
I wish it's gonna be as sunny as past days since my friend is gonna come for a visit for the rest of the week!

and here are few photos of the past days around London;

Encounters in St. James Park

It's been while since my last post. I've been busy with being sick, my surprise holiday to Italy and with a stress to find a new room to rent. But I'm back here now.

So much has happened, let's start from this, one month ago my landlady told me that it's my time to move out from here since they need the entire apartment. I started room hunting and I've been feeling so desperate, it is getting so expensive here. It is really difficult to find a decent room with less than £600 and usually on top of that there are bills to pay, which is way over my budget but the most important thing is that I have found new room where I'm about to move at the end of this week or beginning of the next week. So now I just need to pack everything and when I get the keys I need to move everything from here to there and probably lots of stuff will be thrown away, spring cleaning.

Lets go back what I have been doing today, I did go to St. James Park, which I love. It is amazing place, all kind of animals birds, ducks, gooses and even pelicans! Which was quite a surprise for me, I wouldn't think I could see them here... I think there are lots of things still that makes me surprised about England.
