Surrey Docks City Farm

The best place when you got nothing to do and definitely make you happy, The city farms of London.
Last Sunday again one more time at the Surrey Docks City Farm.
We had a lazy Sunday, breakfast at 2pm and after that we headed to the farm so we didn't have that much time to spend there since it closed at 5pm, but at least I got some photos with goats and little piglets and other animals!

The farm is actually really nice place to spend afternoon, you can even buy some food for the animals and feed them. And also they have this little cute farm shop where you can buy the products they are producing in the farm, several kind of eggs and vegetables and also if you like you can buy seeds from the shop and start growing pumpkins and cucumbers by yourself

Beatrix Potter 150 Years

Year 2016 is the anniversary of Beatrix Potter. Even I liked the tails when I was a child I have forgotten them, but couple days ago I faced Peter Rabbit on the back of my 50 pence coin and I started to google Peter Rabbit.
I found out that they released these special edition coins last Easter in the Lake District where Beatrix has spent her holidays and now there is a chance to find these extremely cute coins in the change!
There are several different coins of the characters of Beatrix Potter, you just need to be really lucky to catch them in your pocket and soon they are releasing one more new coin for the collection.

So shall the hunt begin for these special edition coins!

Deers & Nature in Richmond Park

Now after all the uni exams and few weeks holiday, I have finally found some time and will to post again here.

About one month ago I did go to Richmond park with my boyfriend. I was expecting a small park with some animals. I heard there were deers before, but I never thought the park would be so huge and in my opinion it wasn't quite like a park, but very lovely place!

We were lucky it was a hot and sunny day, even there were some dark clouds approaching we didn't get wet, except of the walking. During the day we walked more than 20 km!

Spring has arrived

The entire week has been nearly all the time sunny, this means summer is behind the corner!
I can't wait the hot weather... well if we are ever gonna get it here in UK, I can only hope for it.

My mom visited here for few days and we were really lucky if it rained it was only late in the night.
I wish it's gonna be as sunny as past days since my friend is gonna come for a visit for the rest of the week!

and here are few photos of the past days around London;

Surprise Holiday to Italy

After a busy week viewing rooms, scanning documents trying to sort out references a small brief for beginning of the month.
I got San Valentine's present in advance, tickets to Italy. One of the best presents I've gotten so far.
Unfortunately the week passed way too fast and half of the time I was sick in bed, but at least I was in Italy, eating well and watching Jane The virgin.

On the second day we did a day trip to Venice to see carnivals. That was my first time when I saw it and it was pretty amazing. All the masks, dresses and how much people put afford for that. Maybe for some people it's just something normal you do when it's time of the carnivals, but for me it was really great experience. And I love Venice anyway, this time I had even my camera with me!

And of course like always, we spent some time by the lake. On Wednesday it was really beautiful day, it felt like a spring and I was able to wear sunglasses! I really miss that weather, wish it would be nearly summer again.

Probably our next holiday destination, well let's say proper holiday destination will be Japan, Tokyo next November or spring. We just need to start doing some research and planning.
I bet there are people who has been in Tokyo, what did you like the most and is it worth of visiting?

Encounters in St. James Park

It's been while since my last post. I've been busy with being sick, my surprise holiday to Italy and with a stress to find a new room to rent. But I'm back here now.

So much has happened, let's start from this, one month ago my landlady told me that it's my time to move out from here since they need the entire apartment. I started room hunting and I've been feeling so desperate, it is getting so expensive here. It is really difficult to find a decent room with less than £600 and usually on top of that there are bills to pay, which is way over my budget but the most important thing is that I have found new room where I'm about to move at the end of this week or beginning of the next week. So now I just need to pack everything and when I get the keys I need to move everything from here to there and probably lots of stuff will be thrown away, spring cleaning.

Lets go back what I have been doing today, I did go to St. James Park, which I love. It is amazing place, all kind of animals birds, ducks, gooses and even pelicans! Which was quite a surprise for me, I wouldn't think I could see them here... I think there are lots of things still that makes me surprised about England.
