Winter Lights in Canary Wharf

Dark, freezing cold winter, there is even a chance that It's gonna snow here in UK, I will wait and see. But this year they have made really nice events for January to bring up the light.
First there was Lumiere and now they set up bunch of lights in Canary Wharf.

We went to see the lights on the other night, some of them was really weird and just some lights, but when we managed to go little further, closer to Jubilee Park, there was really nice "waterfall", when the water dropped down, the water created some words and when the water fell down they disappeared, that was one of my favorite.

But since I love colors and lights, the best part for me was in the park, they made flowers which changed colors, I'd love to have those flowers in my room! And having a warm cup of London Fog in Starbucks finished the evening, after staying outside for an hour we were like ice cubes

Knitted Hearts

What beats 100-0 Sex and the city on a Saturday night? Knitting, last night I spent my evening knitting, well let's say I was trying to knit. It took a while before it became actually knitting. Last time when I touched knitting needles and yarn was somewhere in a secondary school, long time ago, so let's say I'm a beginner.

Youtube and Google as a help to find out what all those "knitting English" meant. And after that I thought it would be 20 minutes and I would have a knitted heart. The tutorial said it takes approximately 10 minutes, so I gave half of the time more for me to do it, well my 20 minutes became 40 minutes eventually. But I did it, I knitted my very first heart ever, it does look like it's the first, but at least It has the heart shape.

I love this idea of hearts and since it's Valentine's day coming, it's gonna be so cute on a card or just sending the hearts in an envelope

Lumiere London

Yesterday here in London was Lumiere-show, we missed it. We came to the center too late, almost everything was already finished. Not that we were planned to go there, but we heard it was yesterday because the buses were on diversion.
Even we missed the best part of the Lumiere we saw some little things and I'm really happy I did. It looked pretty amazing, something what I have never seen before.

I love lights and colors, so that might be one reason why I loved it. But once again, I didn't have my camera with me so I couldn't take photos expect with my phone, just my luck.

Usually I don't drink drink too much Almond milk, I don't mind about the taste. I tried once to make a caffè latte, but I didn't even want to finish it, but lots of people have told me that it is actually really nice with smoothies and I did try the smoothie with almond milk, banana and cashew nuts, it was really lovely, I just wish the bottle would been bigger! I had to run to Tesco to buy all the ingredients and try it at home, if it's gonna taste the same and I will definitely do it again.

Sirmione & Villaggio di Borghetto

10 days goes way too fast, especially when you're on a holiday. Once again I'm back in London and back to work. I miss Italy already, hoping to get there again soon!
My last entire day in Italy, we were on to go from morning till evening. Literally we slept all the time for the 8 days and we did go around on the last day. We woke up at 5 in the morning and I was hoping to see the sunrise, but with my luck it was really snowy on that morning so I had to forget the sunrise, but we still did go to Sirmione, which I'm really happy because it is really beautiful place

After Sirmione we headed to Borghetto, which is small village not too far away from Peschiera, well lets say maybe about half an hour away. Borghetto is really worth of seeing, it doesn't need too much time to spend, like I said it is really small village. I would go there another time too. Unfotunately this time we went there on Monday and nearly everything was closed there, so we didn't have chance to taste tortellini in there

I'd love to visit more places like this, in Italy or other countries, which places would be worth of visiting?

Peschiera del Garda

First day of the year and we spent it relaxed. After waking up after midday and having a breakfast in McDonald's we had a walk around Peschiera del Garda by another part of the lake. We also went to have a late lunch to La Plume, which is located just right in front of the lake Garda. Perfect place to have a relaxing afternoon.

Sunset by the lake is lovely, the colors that comes up and contrast the lake. One of the remaining mornings I definitely want to force myself to wake up early and to go to see sunrise and to have a fresh breakfast, cappuccino and fresh pastries

In the late afternoon we decided to finish the day really relaxed. We drove short way to small kind of spa, centro benessere, to enjoy of Italian saunas and swimming pool. This was a great way to start new year 2016
