Jena and Weimar, Germany

It's been already couple of months but I never posted the photos I took in my Germany travel in February. Unfotyunately I took just few photos of Jena, but in Weimar my camera was in use constantly

We had quite intense lessons from morning until evening, around 7 pm we got some free time during the evening. We did discover some Pubs in Jena, but after the second night we learned the two pubs we visited were the only good ones in that city. Anyway we had fun and people got to know us pretty quickly!

Weimar was really nice little city about 20 km away from Jena. There our German skills were put on trial. We visited few museums and ine of them was actually quite interesting, Goethe Haus. But all the tour was in German so maybe few details of some of the stuff is still uncovered, at least for me

The week went really quick, but it was really great and fun experience and I did make new friends and also I did improve my german. Still one more month to go for my end of module written exam, fingers crossed i'll pass it!

Study updates

Beginning of this week I got the confirmation in February for one week I'll be off to Jena, Germany!
I will have my uni classes there in German university, it's pretty neat, but I still don't speak german! I hope soon I will understand how to produce something in german at least something, I am able to understand some written texts, but speaking it much much more complicated for me

What I've heard of Jena, it's a university city and it's second biggest city in it's region. In Jena there are about 110 000 inhabitants which 21 000 are students. 

The university where my classes will be held is called Friedrich- Schiller Universität Jena. 
The information I got now of the city, it does't seem to be that bad place, maybe I could take few extra days to travel and go to see also Berlin, since it is not that far away from Jena.

Help Needed!

After a short break back in here, it's been busy, stressful and tiring month. But finally I'm not homeless anymore, I found a very small and lovely room. At the moment it's still a huge mess, I need to buy some storage and shelves where to place all my stuff, but slowly it's gonna be better.

Now if anyone knows any good websites for language exchange? I really need to find a person or two to start practice my German. About in one month I'm gonna have a this module's last exam, but it is a bit more complicated than I though... the the only complex thing is that I need to speak german (of course) and I am not able to speak it really and second quite big problem is that I don't understand any single sentence what german speaking people are telling me... this basically means that my german skills are close to ZERO, unfortunately.
So all the advise are welcome, all the language exchange websites, german tv websites etc, just leave a comment

Uni, why did I ever start studying again? It just gives too much pressure and stress... Well one day all the hard work will be paid off... when the day of my graduation will come, in case I will pass this module

But tomorrow I'm gonna relax, after work I'm heading to a city farm to see some animals.

Laajasalon Opisto

Nyt on viime päivinä tullu mietittyy enemmän tulevaisuutta, mitä sitä tekis ja haluunko tehä aina tarjoilijan töitä, vastaus on, että en halua. Joten pakko löytää jotain uutta ja kivaa

Kauheen vaikeeta päättää mitä haluis tehä, tuntuu et vaihan mieltä joka toinen päivä. Mut nyt luulen et oon ehkä löytäny jotain mitä voisin haluta kokeilla, mut varmaankin vasta vuoden päästä, sillä haluun olla täällä maailmalla niin pitkään ko vaan mahollista.

Oon miettiny jospa kokeilisin hakee Laajasalon opistoon opiskelemaan kuvallista viestintää ja graafista suunnittelua. Ne asiat kiinnostaa, ainaki tällä hetkellä. Ja koulu kestäis vaan vuoden joka ois ehkä ihan hyvä näin miun kohalla, ehkä en ehi menettää mielenkiintoo koulun aikana

Now lately I've been thinking of more the future, what would I do and do I always want to be a waitress, the answer is no, I don't. So I gotta find something new and interesting. 

It's really difficult to decide what you want to do because I feel like I'm changing my mind every two days. But now finally I think I've found something what has got my interest and I'm willing to try it, but probably after a year, because now I want to be here as long as possible. 

I've been thinking that I could try to apply to school in Laajalahti, in Helsinki to study visual communication & graphic design. Those things are interesting, at least at the moment. And the school is just for one year, it's good for me, so I won't lose my interest during the school

Tuntuu et aika menee tääl joteski kauhian nopeesti, vaikken hirveesti ees tee täällä mittää, ainaka töitä...
Oon alkanu miettimää jo mitä haluun tehä tän vuoden jälkee, kauhian vaikeeta oikeesti päättää mitä haluu tulevaisuudelta, ko ei voi tietää tykkääks siit enäää parin vuoden päästä.

Mut oon kuiteski miettin et vois koittaa hakeutua yliopistoo lukemaa kieliä ja sitte ehkä joskus vois alkaa tekemää kääntäjän hommia. Ettiskelin eilen vähä yliopistoja ympärimaailmaa... taitaa haaveet jäähä siihe, ettei löydy rahaa tarpeeks, tai olis, mutten haluu kuluttaa kaikkia säästöjä koulutukseen.
Ja kon miulla on ongelma et kyllästyn aika helposti kaikkeen, mitä jos si ei piäkkä siit ja on maksanu kauhiat summat ihan turhaa?? Päättäminen on iha kamalaa :/

Ja toinen ajatus oli, et vois kokeilla avointa yliopistoo, mut pitää vähä ettii enempi tietoo siit ja kysellä jos jotkut kaverit/ tutut tietäis jonku joka ois kokeillu tätä vaihtoehtoo, pitää vähä katella ja miettiä. Mut tää ois voinu olla ihan kivaa, kon en oo vielä ainaka kyllästyn kielii ja oon opiskellu kaikenmaailman kieliä viime vuosina, tosin en puhu niistä kovin montaa : D
