Memories From Italy

I still got the photos from Italy from last December. My computer is still broken and haven't got any chance to get the photos on the blog, but for one more day I still have my boyfriends computer in my use. I am suppose to be doing my German essay, but you can always have an extra brake, even if the cut of date is tomorrow!

Anyway our holiday went kind of smoothly, relaxing visiting Verona, zoo and some small places I never visited before.
One small kind of accident happened, I hunted my knee and few days I had to stay at home doing nothing and after that we had to think what can we do that I don't need to use the knee since I had to not use it for one week.
After all the holiday was really nice, I met up with my friend from Foligno. 3 years passed that we didn't see each other, so it was about the time already!

DIY Foam Face Mask With My Boyfriend

Recently I discovered on Instagram a DIY face mask which is really easy to do, but if you want to do it by hand, you need strength !

You will need only two ingredients for this easy face mask
1 egg white
1tbps of sugar

and mix it well in a bowl until its foamy and will stay on your face. Keep it for about 10 - 15 minutes and wash it off. I find it easiest to do before you are about to have a shower, since I am a bit messy person and I always get it on my hair and after all I will be extremely sticky.

One great side of this mask is that it actually tastes nice in case you manage to get it on your mouth or in case you just want to taste it.

It's been a while

Last year beginning of December my computer broke and I still haven't been able  to fix it, so there has not been any post here on the blog.

Until now when I realised I can try to use my ipad, not sure how this will end up to be, but I can only try.

Later whenever my computer is back in use I will post lots of photos from my Italian holiday before Christmas and also here on the blog will be more animal/ hamster related post since I got a hamster on new years eve. I named my little syrian hamster as Daisy Hunt. Yes my boyfriend had huge impact of her having also surname. 

And also recently I got huge intrest to do all kind of DIY projects, beauty DIY and also building all the possible things for Daisy. Also because pet shops doesn't have that much correct size toys and stuff for syrian hamsters, they are too  small and also you might need to pay fortune about the stuff that you can build yourself with less money and eventually it is really fun, even though I'm just a beginner with these stuff and maybe they are not the most beautiful creations

Study updates

Beginning of this week I got the confirmation in February for one week I'll be off to Jena, Germany!
I will have my uni classes there in German university, it's pretty neat, but I still don't speak german! I hope soon I will understand how to produce something in german at least something, I am able to understand some written texts, but speaking it much much more complicated for me

What I've heard of Jena, it's a university city and it's second biggest city in it's region. In Jena there are about 110 000 inhabitants which 21 000 are students. 

The university where my classes will be held is called Friedrich- Schiller Universität Jena. 
The information I got now of the city, it does't seem to be that bad place, maybe I could take few extra days to travel and go to see also Berlin, since it is not that far away from Jena.

Rio Facial Steamer

I have always had a skin that there are all the time some pimples and blackheads and now recently I've noticed that it has gotten worse, on my skin there are everywhere small kind of pimples and then there are always those few extremely red spots you can't hide with a normal layer of makeup.

For this reason I purchased a facial Sauna steamer by Rio, it actually arrived today, lovely surprise in the middle of the work day! (I do order all my parcels to my work place, there is always someone to receive the parcel)
And also recently I purchased moisturizer and facial toner which are made of Tea Tree oil. I've heard good feedback of this oil and now I wanted to see if this can help at least somehow together with the facial sauna steamer.

In the box there  are included also small measurement cup which is easy to use to pour the water in the steamer. If you fill up the steamer 50ml it will last approximately for 20 minutes, which will be enough, your face will be nice and red after that time ;)
Also with the steamer there is a inhaler attachment which is helpful if you got any kind of sinus problems, it will help you to breath better. And what I like the most is that there is essential oil vaporiser.

For the price I bought the facial steamer, it is good. Yet I don't know for how long it will last, but for £20 it is a great way of having little relaxing moment in the evenings!

Spicy Hot Apple Drink

On a cold windy Autumn day it is lovely to have something to sip which warms you up. After the work today I came home and I prepared a lovely cup (my new Moomin cup!) of home made spicy Apple drink.
It is so easy to do and won't waste too much of your time and everything you need is;

3 Apples
Hot water
Grounded cinnamon
and a juicer

You just need to juice three apples and pour the juice into a mug, half cup and add some hot water. This is my lazy way, you can also heat up the apple juice and water on stove. This method is better if you want the drink to be little bit more hot than what you can achieve with boiling the water in kettle, since the juice is cold it's going to cool down also the drink. At last add one tea spoon of cinnamon, mix and drink it!

Weekend in Pohjanmaa

One week goes by too fast, especially when you are having a good time. Last Monday we had a flight to Helsinki- Vantaa airport and tomorrow we're heading back there.
But the week has been filled up with lots of fun and relax. Last Thursday we took a train to Seinäjoki and we've spent here the entire weekend.
It's actually the first time when we see the city of Seinäjoki, last time we came here only for the baptism of Aada, but now we saw lots of other things.

We went to see dogs also we saw a lots of cows and beautiful landscapes. We also climbed 20 meters high sightseeing tower in the middle of nowhere, but you were able to see everything, mostly forest, but it was pretty neat anyway!
And at last we climbed to apple trees to get some apple and now we have lots of apples for the trip back to Helsinki!

The best part was that we were able to play with Aada, change diapers, feed her, bath her and put her to sleep.
