It's All About Ice Cream

Yesterday was Ice cream day. We did on our own ice cream, two different flavor, Banana which was really delicious! And melone, it was also delicious, but I preferred the banana ;)

We started with the melon ice cream and when we was starting to make the next one, we noticed that we don't have bananas enough, so I had to run to minimarket, which is near here and then we was able to continue the progress!  After two hours we had lot of delicious Ice cream... Mmmmm :3







...And It's ready!

Delle Rose



Eilen kaatosateen jälkee läksin kiertelemää paikkoja, ei vaa pystyny enää olemaa kotona koko aikaa, ko ei täälä oikee oo mitää tekemistä.

Päädyin sitte yhteen kahvilaan, Delle Rose, siitä on tullu iha miu lemppari kahvila lungo marella, keskustasta löytyy sitte toinen lemppari kahvila, mistä saa frutti di bosco kroissantteja! NAM!

Delle rosesta saa ihan parasta jätskiä ja se o yks halvimpei paikkoja mitä oon löytäny täält. 2,60e ja sillä saa iha kauhian iso klöntin jäätelöö! Ens kerralla ei tarvii ostaa nii isoo, siit tulee iha liika täytee (:


Joku päivä pitää menn testaamaa sinne cappuccino ja jotai niitä söpöjä pikkuherkkuja mitä siel o esillä vaiks kui paljo! ja ne näyttää niin hyville, nekin... Vaikeeta olla syömäti herkkuja ko joka paikka pursuaa niitä : D






Niin ja juttelin eilen Iskän ja äitipuolen kaa skypessä, sen puhelun jälkee miulla oli lentolippu Fiumincinosta suomeen, 13. elokuuta ja paluu lippu takasin Italiaan saman viikon sunnuntaina! Mie meen lomalle Suomeen, outoo : D

A Hotty Day!

In a morning I really slept till late! I catch a breakfast cappuccino and some yoghurt and then I left to look for the postoffice. And I finally got send two cards witch I was suppose to send a week ago, but it's better late than never ;)

When I arrived home I went to the balcony to get some tan, and now I got light lines! they will be even better, if I have time to lay under the sun tomorrow!

Also today I kept English lesson for Mario and actually it was pretty fun! okei, I was suppose to do it for one hour, but we had little less than that, but we had to catch the bus for the ice cream and Mario wanted to go to Via Roma to Gamestop, to buy 'Skylander'. I'm so exited! ;o

And after the gamestop, we did a visit for the church. We lighted 4 candles for Mario's Grandfather and some other people, I quite didn't undertand... but some relatives who has passed away before he was eve born.
The church was really beautiful and it was really nice to visit there, even I'm not religious at all. Best of all of the church was that it was chill, no heat!

Gelato Italiano ;)

Allora, I haven't tried this yet, but I will. I was just "reading" my Ice cream book which I bought from Rome last  December. I haven't even opened the book before last night and I started to miss delicious Italian ice cream, so I decided to try out some of the recipes and I end up for pistachio ice cream!
One of my favorite ice cream flavor in Central bar.

Now I just have to go to the market and buy everything needed. I translated the recipe from Italian to Finnish, it was so difficult to find correct Finnish words! I need to take some Finnish lessons! : D

And here's the receipt (I don't guarantee it will be delicious, but I will try ;)

Gelato al pistacchio

600ml of cream
5 egg yolk
115g of sugar
225g  of pistachios with shells
a bit of almond crushed grain
a bit of vanilla

Bring the cream to a boil and let it cool down for little while. Beat the eggs and sugar until smooth foam.
Add the cool down cream carefully to the mixture.

Cook the ice cream liquid in a double boiler until it won't create a skin on the top. Take the liquid off from stove and let it cool down completely.

Boil the pistachios with shells about 5 mins and then peel them. Crush nuts in a blender and mix with almond crumbs and vanilla.
Add the mixture of nuts and vanilla to a ice cream liquid and when it's chilled pour it to a ice cream machine.

Let the liquid work out until it's freezing. Transfer the ice cream to other bowl which stands freezer. Let it be in a freezer at least 15 mins before serving.
(when the ice cream is ready it lasts one month in the freezer)
