Breakfast by a Fireplace

The day how I planned was to wake up early, have a hot shower, prepare a breakfast, go outside for a morning walk in a sunny weather, study a bit and then take my camera and going around taking random photos and eventually to go to meet my friend. This is how I imagined my day to be...

The reality was, I woke up first time at 4am, I started to watch Dont tell the bride  and after two episodes I fell asleep again and woke up at 11 am. After that I had a cold shower since there was no hot water left after my flatmates had a shower before. Also my breakfast ended up to be only a cup of cappuccino in front of a fire place. We went to another coffee shop which is near my home and I never been there before and it ended up to be really lovely coffee shop, I will definitely go there again. 

Later on I did meet my friend in the center, we headed to a tea shop to have a cup of tea and to have a chat, since it's been while since we have seen last time. And yes I ended up again back to the lego train and this time I was able to take a photo while there was the steam coming out from the chimney, I love that train, for me and thousands of other children it is amazing!

Lomalta palailua ja Arkiruokaa

Nyt on päästy turvallisesti takasin Lontoon kotiin suomesta. Ja samalla on palattu töihin ja opiskelujen pariin. Tänään on onneks ollu lepponen päivä, menin Husk Coffee nimiseen kahvilaan aamupalalle ja jäin sinne vielä sen jälkeen opiskelemaan.

Husk coffee on aivan ihana pieni yksityinen kahvila, joka on vähän hippityylinen, mut aivan ihana paikka. Välillä siellä tulee käytyä turhan usein ja sen paikan henkilökunta tunnistaa miut jo erittäin hyvin sielä. Mut mikäs sen mukavempaa kon että saa erittäin hyvää palvelua ja välillä kon kävelee kahvilan ohi ne moikkaa sisältä!

Siinä samalla kon ois pitäny opiskella ajatukset harhautu vähän muille teille, mut siitä sain ihan loistavan idean. Muutamia vuosia sitten, n. 6 vuotta sitten käytiin kaverin kanssa oikeen urakalla Saksassa, kaikki lomat sinä vuonna suuntautu Frakfurttiin, kon siellä asui kaverin sukulaisia silloin, oli niin helppo päästä sinne vähän useemmin, kon ei tarvinut mitään muuta varata kon lennot. Siellä meidän lempiruoka oli ranskalaiset ja bearnais kastike! Ei ehkä kuulosta niin ihanalle, mutta meille se oli just parasta.
Päätin siis tänään tehdä Bearnais kastikkeen alusta alkaen itse, ensimmäiseks kerraks onnistu aivan mahtavasti ja tuli niin hyvää!

Valitettavasti kamera ei oo vielä kotiutunu lomamatkalta, joten bearnaiskastikkeesta ei tullu kuvia, kun kännykän kuvat näyttää ihan kauheille, jos joudun kuvat ottamaan sisätiloissa täälä asunnolla.
Mutta resepti tulee kuitenkin olemaan postauksen lopussa muiden kuvien jälkeen, sekä Suomen kuvia on tullossa tosiaan sitten kon saan sen kameran takasin kotia.

Nyt tuli vähän myöhässä, mutta 1.12.15 oli World aids day

Hollandaise Sauce

2 Egg yolks 

100g Butter 

1 Tblsp Lemon sauce 

1 tsp Mustard 

White wine vinegar 

1 Ice cube (if needed) 

Take a glass and a bowl and separate two egg yolks and melt butter. Place the bowl on top of a pot of simmering water. Add mustard and lemon sauce mix together well. Add butter little by little to the egg yolk and keep mixing all the time. If the mixture is starting to split add ice cube or little bit cold water. This little trick should save your Hollandaise sauce. In the end if the hollandaise is too thick you can loosen the sauce with white wine vinegar 

Last weekend

Nyt on ollu viikonlopusta hiljaiseloo täällä, mut ei oo ollu mitää järkevää postattavaa ni en oo sitte tehny mittää.

Viikonloppu tuli ja meni nopeesti, liian nopeesti! Tapahtu kaikkee kivaa ja ei niin kivaa, kuten vanhat äijät kyselee, jos haluis läksiä sen hotellihuoneeseen...
Mutta kuitenkin törmäsin yhteen kaveriin Folignosta, joka tosiaan oli yllätys molemmille. Ko törmättii kumpika ei oikee tienny mitä ois sanonu tai tehny, seistii siinä vaa hiljaa hämmästyneinä, se tilanne tuntu joteski nii tyhmälle näi jälkee päi ajatellen : D

Illalla kuiteski nähtii ja mentii oluille ja kierreltii ympäri San Benedettoo juttellen iha kaikkee ja yritettii ettiä jotai hauskanpitoo, mut ei löyetty mitää, joka muuten oli tosi outoo, koska viikolla joka ilta oli jotai tekemistä ja ihmisii oli iha liikaaki ain välillä! No mut si sen kaverin kaveri soitti ja lähettii autolla kiertelee jonnekki ja saatii hyvää musiikkii!
Ja sunnuntai meni siihe et nukuin miltei koko päivän kon olin kotiutunu.

Ja nyt ollaa jo puolivälis viikkoo ja katotaan leffaa Marion ja Egerian kaa, englanniks, tosin siin on italiankieliset tekstit, mut leffa on joteski tosi tylsä, en jaksa kahtoo sitä : D Ja lupauduin viemää noi kaks jätskille, joku päivä täs ko saan vaa rahaa (:

Ja oon ihan täysin rakastunu Italialaiseen kahvinkeittimeen, moccaan! Aivan mahtava keksintö, sydän sille <3 Pakko sellain on kai josaki vaihees hommata.

Breakfast at Tiffany's

Not quite, actually I never seen the movie, just noticed it's on the selection of Sky. But anyway in a morning I woke up late, well actually not so late, but since I came here I have almost always woke up at 8am latest. I prepared myself to go outside and took a bicycle and went to a nearest bar.

Un cappuccino e cornetto :3  I love this phrase : D Cappuccino here just is the best thing! And in Finland you can't have as good cappuccino as here, it's for sure!

After the breakfast in Italian style, I kept going around Rieti and bought a postcard for my friend! And now I was already spent almost all of my money I had with me! But I still was able to buy one stamp and the card is on the way to FINLAND!

In the end of the morning I met new swedish guy! It was really nice, and he promised to show me around the city, like nightlife and everything else in the city! (:
And now this girl is off to center (soon)!

Un cornetto e caffé latte

Käytiin kaverin kanssa aamupalalla pari päivää si, ko molemmat sattu oleen keskustas samaa aikaa. Mentii City käytävän Robert's Coffeeseen, otettiin  latte ja croissantti.

Edellisenä iltana tuli ihan kauhia ikävä Folignoa ja niitä päivittäisiä aamukahveja kahvilassa ja Muzzin ihan parhaimmat täytetyt croissantit! Ei Robert's coffeen tavallinen croissantti ollu mitää verrattuna mitä italiassa sai, ja kolmin kertaset hinnatki viel! Mut yritettiin ajatella, että ollaan Italiassa : D Ja parasta kuiteski oli koko hommassa se et sain ihan mahtavaa aamupalaseuraa ja juteltiin ja naurettiin vaiks kui paljo. Aikaki lensi siinä, istutii siel kahvilas 1,5 tuntii. Oli ihan mahtava aamu ♥

I went for a breakfast with my friend couple days ago, cause we both were in a downtown. We went to a Robert's coffee, we took cafe latte and croissant.


On the previous evening we started to miss Foligno and those everyday morning coffees in a café and Croissants with marmalade fillings from Muzzi, they're the best! Normal croissant from Robert's coffee is nothing to compared for the ones you get in Italy, and the price is triple! But we tried to imagine we were in Italy : D And the best of all was the company and we talked and laughed so much. The time passed so fast, we were in the cafe 1,5 hours. The morning was great ♥

In cinema at home

I got to spend an evening with a frined who I haven't seen for long time, well at school we have seen, but not spent time together almost for 2 months! And usually I'm with her 24/7!

We rent 2 movies and bought lot of everything good to eat (: The first movie we saw was 'Due date'. It was good and funny! We got to laught a lot, but I don't know was one of the reason that we were really tired (:
Second movie was 'Piranha'. So gross! But still I wanna see the second part of this movie too : D
 So gross movie, so you have too see the second part.. that doesn't make sense at all, but still (:

Today I went to the shopping mall to bring back the movie... and I found a way to my favorite café in Finland, to Robert's coffee! I had to buy a caffe latte, but it was so expensive! I was used to prices in Italy... there I paid 1,10€ of the latte, here I paid 4,00€!! Too expensive :/ I can't have caffé latte so often here...

Days with Italians

Few past day has been spent with Italian students from Foligno. We have been doing little bit stuffs with them and ´without them (:

1° Giorno
The fist day went well, we played with some games where we got to know each other little bit. With us was those Italians, Estonian students and also some Finnish students who are going to a exchange to Estonia.
We had a dinner where the students are living and in the evening we went to home. We didn't get much time to spend with them, cause first of all, Italians were 1,5 hours late. Well, that's normal for Italians, we were totally forgot that, but now we know to prepare for that ;)

2° Giorni

Wednesday morning we wen't to bakery class with Italians. We baked karelian pasties and korvapuusties : D And then we introduced them to our school's bar class. We did margarita and some other cocktails and let them drink/taste them, that's our school ! I think making drinks is the best part of our school ;D
On the evening we tried to get contact to Italians, but they wanted to go to home and sleep. So we made a little group of our friends and we went to drink and eat something and of course talking & having fun! (:

3° Giorni, 1st of December...

Yeah... today was really  unusual day. We went to beach with Italianos. The principle of the Italian school likes sauna and swimming so much, so he wanted to go to beach ON DECEMBER O.O well anyway, our international coordinator was made a reservation for us to sauna, we went there and almost all the Italians went to swim. The water was freezing! I stayed on ground and I was just taking photos of them ;) But in the end we got coffee/tea/hot chocolate or soda and one korvapuusti (:
 Tomorrow there should be a Helsinki tour, Awesome! I don't know anything about any sightseeing in Helsinki, well few places... but I'm gonna tell later, on weekend how it passed by : D And maybe some pics from there :)

A job interview

In the morning I went to school and stayed there couple of hours and then I had to go to Helsinki.
It was pretty important day for me, I had a job interview. It was at 1 p.m. I left little early from school, I could have stayed a little longer there, but this was really good reason to get out of there early ;)

So in Helsinki, I was looking for the place where the interview was. I never been there or never seen the building. I just got the address... last night, mom told me to look up to a map so I would know a bit where to go, but I was so sure I would know where it is, so I didn't bother to do that. Of course when I went there, I couldn't find it :P It wasn't the street what I thought, so it took a little longer to find the right place, but I'm so happy I left little too early (: But I was on time there.

After an interview I met my friend who I wasn't seen for long time. We had really nice time and we went for a coffee twice. On the second time we were smart and went to one restaurant where our common friend is working and she was on shift so we got free coffee (:

... And about the interview, now I'm waiting a call from there and see will I have a job or not (:

Daddy's day!

Tänää siis täälä Espoossa (ja muuallaki Suomessa) vietettiin iskän päivää. Oli tarkotus mennä sinne jo eilen ja et olisin ollu sielä yön yli, mut suunitelmiin tuli muutoksia ja päädyin sinne vast tänä aamuna :)

Päivä vierähti siel aika nopeesti, syötiin lounas, tapasin iskän uuden naisystävän, katoin muutamia leffoja, syötiin kakkuu ja kahvia ja päivän päätteeks tuli viel rikottuu iskän läppäri =) Tosin se oli ollu jo rikki pikkuse, mut miun käytön jälkee ei enää suostunu meneen päälle olleska : D
Ja sain pieniä tuliaisia Tallinnasta, kaulakorun, mis on sydänriipus ja ihanan lämpimät (ainaki näyttää lämpösiltä :) tumput. Ne oliki ollu ostoslistal, jote ny ei tarvii enää menn niitäkä mettästään mistää :)

Nyt on si tultu takasin kotia, ja pitäis kai alkaa jatkamaa tekee sitä opinnäytetyötä viel, ei kyl millää huvittais, mut si se valmistuis iha vähä nopeemmin, ehkä, toivottavasti ainaki :)

Christmas... Not quite yet!

All the shops has started already their Christmas... Well started little while ago, in the end of October. And now it's 9th of November and there's all the Christmas trees and all the decorations. It's way too early for Christmas! In my opinion they start Christmas way too yearly, they should wait at least nearly to the end of November. When you enter a shop, you really feel like you have skipped one month

This week has been quite full and busy. On Monday I was at my friend and I cut her hair. I'm not hairdresser or anything like that (at least not yet). I just love to cut hairs. I even cut my own hair, it doesn't always look so perfect cause it's difficult to cut your hair yourself from the back, but it's never been so horrible that I would been shamed to go outside :)

And on the next day, on Tuesday I met 2 of my friends. One was my class mate, we tried to go to library, but we really didn't end up there. And after while I went to Helsinki to see one other friend. We went for a coffee and we were just talking about everything for few hours. But then I had to go home, cause it started to be little late... and on that evening I tried to go bed early, but it little failed :> And I noticed it in a morning, I overslept, but not too bad, just about 20 mins, and I still had time to get ready for school ://

But today I really did spend over 2 hours in library with books and I actually read 16 page of one. That's a lot for me, I never read books : D But I'm so stressed of this final project and I even felt like I could stop school now (which would't be smart at all) but anyway, my friend helped me and I was happy again and I did something done, a plan about what I'm gonna write :)

 

A Package from Switzerland

Some days ago I got a note from the post office that I have got a bigger package than our mailbox, so I needed to go pick it up from the office.  I wasn't able to walk well, so mom went there and brought it home for me.
  I ordered one kind of coffee from Switzerland, which my friend brought for me when she was here. Well I still wasn't able to have exact same coffee, cause they were stopped producing the coffee. But my friend picked up some other good coffee ( I have to test it soon) Also she was included a letter, so I got something to read too :)
 When mom came home with the package I knew immediately it was that package which I have been waiting  for little while :)  My friend was also received my present for her because she sent the coffee. And she was really happy about that
