European Bartender School

Now I know what I want to do next! well at least at some point. After my au pair year I will start saving for European Bartender School course! It's gonna last for 4 weeks and you can choose the place where you want to go to school.

There's some different places you can go;

  • Kos, Greece
  • Phuket, Thailand
  • London, Great Britain
  • Sydney, Australia
  • Stochold, Sweden
  • Barcelona, Spain
And from there you get a certificate and everything you need in english. And you can easy apply jobs from all around the world!
That would be so great! Maybe I'm getting my interest back to work as an bartender! (: I really hope so, and I really wish Im able to do this one day (:

Through all the cultures

It's been a bit busy week. We got an exercise that we have to go to visit in some restaurants in Espoon keskus and write down on a paper some stuff about the food cultures it represent, but I was too lazy and I didn't even have time to do that, so I just tried to look for all the info from web. Let's see will I pass that : D

And I got my latest order from Tmart yesterday! I bough more Iphone stuff.. but now I'm not gonna waste my money for anything anymore, only the must things only. I have 3 weeks before the departure! It feels forever when you're waiting that!!

I finally took a picture of my graduation dress and shoes for it, only the purse is still missing. I have to try to look for something, not too expensive, maybe I'll find something from Sweden when I go there on the next week. I really hope, then  I don't need to worry about anything.

AND YEAH!! I PASSED MATH!! so happy about that!! (:

Reggae & breeze of Bali

It was pretty chill day, I was driving around Espoo and Vantaa with my friend and we ended up to a Helsinki- Vantaa airport to check, if Starbucks would have been opened already, but it wasn't :(
It leaded to something good. We went to Jumbo, a big shopping center for a coffee and Ice cream. And I was trying to look for a dress for my graduation, but I didnt find it, at least I thought so until I got home.

Cause I bought a dress for the summer, it's pretty casual dress, but my 'stepmom', or how ever I should call her, gave me some tips and I found perfect heels for the dress (:
Now I have one problem less! Just have to go to look for some jewels to make it look a bit better ;)

Before we did this 'Espoo-Vantaa trip' we was hanging out at my place, listening reggae music and I tried out incenses which I got from my friend when she was in Bali couple weeks ago (:

Ciao Bella!

First week has gone fast! Much has been done and happened. Also the Christmas passed away already, and we didn’t totally find out Italian people traditional Christmas. We tried to ask that from everyone and we got millions of different answers.
But we got know that Italians celebrate the Christmas on 25th of December, so we Finns are inpatient and start celebrating a day before than rest of the world (expect the Nordic countries)

on 24th of December we had a Finnish Christmas dinner, well not so traditional, but at least we had it on the Christmas Eve. We had Christmas porridge at first and then pesto pasta… We didn’t get glögi for this Christmas, cause we had to throw them off at the Helsinki-Vantaa airport, we had too much over weight and we didn’t want to pay nearly 70€ of that.  And I got one Christmas present on this year, I didn’t expect it, but it was really nice to have. I got Italiano- Finlandese dictionary! : D And we have got so many laughs with it.. we have some common words, pronounced same way, but the spelling is just different.

25th of December we didn’t do much during the day, just slept and watched sex and the city- series and moomins (: But on the evening we went to a opening of a new club, ‘Serendipity’

Soon I'm going to Rome, so probably I will take some photos and post them here later when I find some time and if we have internet connection!

Problems!

I started packing some days ago, but now I'm doing most of it. And I already got some problems. Airlines has that stupid weight limit for luggages, 23kg, in some airlines it's even less! I can't understand how people can go for a holiday without paying any fees of over weight!

My problem is + 5kg! I've took only the most important things and clothes I have to take, but still it's nearly impossible to close...
I need to pack my hand luggage so full as possible : D And if it's a bit over weight still, I really wish they wont take any fees of that. I have had luck with that twice when I have had over weight. Other times I've had lot of kilos to spend... Let's see what my luggage will say when I'm coming back to Finland.

I have to give few liters of glögi off. It's way too heavy, I just need to try survive with little less of glögi this Christmas / New year's Eve... But they're waiting me here, when I'm back here in January (:

For the staff of Ostello I made a Christmas card today. I went to tiimari to buy some card stuffs, but almost eveything was sold out, all the Christmas things. But then I found something and bought them also I used some papers which I found from home. But this is the card I was able to do today (:

Little stress

Yesterday I started stressing a lot. Our teacher at school told us about our final project. I have been stressing a little about it past 2 years and now it's time to start working on it.
I know the subject already, and it's Italian food culture, of course it's something about Italy ;) But I haven't quite understood everything I should do, but I'm happy there's a lot of time to work on it. In January I have had done 10 to 15 pages of it.
Also I hope I'm gonna have an inspiration of writing latest when I'm in Italy. Well that was one of the reasons why we booked a flight there, to go to write our final project there with friends. Awesome idea, write about where you are ;) Of course while studying and working on that project we need a little time out, so meeting friends and having fun is also great (:

I made some plans for next week :) I'm going for a coffee with my Italian friend who lives here, in Helsinki. He's helping me with my Italian and I'll try my best to help him with Finnish.
Actually I'm waiting that meeting pretty much (:
